The kids' first trip to the ocean.

Or the Gulf of Mexico, to be precise. Brad and I made a quick stop on the Seawall in Galveston to let the kids see the beach for the first time. They hated it! Well, Jackson hated it. Noah was scared and fascinated at the same time. It was windy and there was a lot of traffic whizzing by on the street. And it was really bright out. Jackson hates bright light. We call him our little vampire.

So it wasn't a great first impression. I grew up going to Galveston and Freeport and Matagorda bay. I'd like to take the kids to a really pretty beach somewhere. Any ideas?
