Mother's Day '07

I started my Mother's Day a little early by getting a pedicure on Saturday. Then Jackson presented me with an ooey, gooey peanut butter dark chocolate fugdge brownie he made for me while I was out getting pampered. Yummy!

Then on Sunday, both kids gave me an awesome Philosophy skincare kit. Really, my sons have such excellent taste! They even knew to go to my favorite store!
Noah, though, is ever the modest one. He mostly gave the credit to Daddy for the driving-to-the-mall and the having-of-the-credit card. But I knew who was really behind it all.
Then we headed out to La Madeleine for the annual Mother's Day brunch. Cinnamon French Toast. MMM!
Noah opted for the French Country Breakfast.
And finally, we couldn't have a Mother's Day in the first place if it weren't for the Daddy. Thanks Honey!

Dallas Science Museum

In the Children's Museum there was a farm. EIEIO. Jackson, of course, loved sorting the vegetables into different baskets. Honestly, I don't know what Noah was doing here. He mostly liked running away from Mom and Dad.
Water is always fun. Just how wet can little kids get playing at a water table? If you don't know, you don't have kids.

Everyone loves dinosaurs!
Rooaarrr!

A-sprinkling we will go

Brad and Jackson came home with a cool Diego sprinker. We promptly suited up the kids and headed outdoors. Here Noah starts checking out this strange device. Will he like it? Only time will tell.
Jackson's first impressions weren't exactly enthusiastic.
I think he thought he'd just get to play with Diego whilst in the comfort of his house...
Brad then gives Noah an introductory course in splashing 101.
He seemed okay with it. Look at that little belly button!
Jackson decides to give it another go. Hmm, maybe it's not so bad.
Except, hey, it squirted water at him! Oh the indignity of it all. Must run away.
Well if Big Brother's going to run away crying, I'm doing it too! You can't stop me.
Mommy came to the rescue with juice and gummy fruit snacks.
Really, we don't know what Daddy was thinking, setting up that sprinkler. Those things are dangerous, don't you know? You'll shoot your eye out!
