Halloween '09
All dressed up and ready to head out for a big night of fun! Jackson was unhappy because he was ready to go and didn't want to wait around for pictures!
The kids are wearing the same costumes I made for them last year because they didn't want to pick out costumes this year. Well, Noah told me he wanted to be a "snowplower." I assume that's a guy who drives a snow plow. I asked him what a snowplower wears, and he told me, "a red jacket." Well, he has one of those. I asked him if they wore hats since I figured I could fix him up some kind of trucker/plower cap. He said, "no, just a red jacket." Maybe next year.
This year we got invited to a great party. The decorations and food were amazing!
There were lots of kid activities, but my kids spent most of their time running around the pool. Brad or I sat there and kept and eye on them most of the night. Everyone who walked by was so worried one of them would fall in, but they were good!
Noah loves hamming it up for the camera.
The big gravestone reads, "Slo Walker; Ran Over By a Group of Women Pushing Strollers." The party hostess is big into Stroller Strides!
Our little buddy. Quite the devil.
Baby pinata.
Big boy pinata. He yelled, "cheese!" and waited for me to take a picture before each swing.
Jackson really loves letters these days.
Noah scooped up lots of loot from the pinata. Unfortunately, I can't find the bag anywhere. I think I may have left it behind. Noah's none too happy with me, but it's not like we don't have plenty of candy around here!
Big sister devil. Her dad, the optometrist, ordered her some very scary red contacts. He also tied balloons to her tail to make it float.
Finally it was time for trick-or-treating! Jackson didn't want to go, so Noah and I headed off with our friends.
Noah was a pro this year.
And he was so careful with the baby, fussing over her if she fell. My little gentleman!
This year Noah wanted me to stand at the curb while he went to the door with the big kids. At the last few houses I noticed he stayed behind after all the other kids came back to the street. Finally, at the last house, I heard the woman at the door tell him, "I've already given you two pieces of candy. That's all you get."
Big Birthday Bash
We celebrated both our boys on a beautiful day at the park with all our friends!
I think everyone had a great time!
