Painting Pumkins

I ended up using some leftover fingerpaint I found in the closet. It gives it more of a goopy effect.
Just like his brother, Noah didn't really like the feel of the paint on his fingers.
Still, I think they're just adorable!

Green Meadows Farm

Our playgroup took its annual field trip to the farm.

It was the most beautiful fall day imaginable. We saw an animal show complete with a pig race and a counting quarter horse.
Little Miss Lara gets comfy with Anna.
Then we chased some chickens around...
...and Jackson stepped in some goat poop.
Here we're getting ready to take a hayride.
I think our driver must have watched the Nascar race the day before,
because it was one fast, bumpy, wild ride!
Now we're getting ready to milk the cows!
Jackson preferred the milk in his sippy cup.
Next up was a photo-op with the scarecrows.

And then into the pumpkin patch!

Noah picked out his pumpkin right away.
Jackson just kicked some around, so I grabbed one for him.
Now, when's the Great Pumpkin supposed to get here?

Noah's 1st Birthday

Party!

We celebrated with lots of friends and family.
I had to mop the kitchen floor four times before my socks stopped sticking to it, so I think a good time was had by all!

Here he is suiting up and getting started on the cake.
Unfortunately we don't have a shot of the aftermath, though, believe me, it was impressive! I'll have to grab a still shot off the camcorder for posting.

I think Big Brother Jackson enjoyed the cake just as much!

A Boy and His Toys

Noah got some great stuff !

This was taken after cake, which, explains the lack of clothes.

Thanks so much to everyone!
