Eggs

Easter Sunday was supposed to be cold and windy, so we had our egg hunt a day early. The kids resisted getting dressed to go outside. Jackson didn't want to wear a short-sleeved shirt or change out of his pajama pants. Noah didn't want to put down his unfinished bowl of popcorn. Lots of screaming ensued.

Oh, but when they got outside and saw all the eggs! It was pandemonium. I'm sure all the neighbors heard Noah shouting, "Look, an egg! Look, another egg!" the entire time.


For the first time ever, Jackson carried his own basket around and picked up all his own eggs!

And Noah didn't need much help with his eggs, either.

They had so much fun, we ended up having the egg hunt twice more!


Here Jackson does a final sweep of the bushes, just in case.
Noah checked all the low places.
And here's the final haul. Their baskets were way too small, so they dumped them out into this big basket. I think they enjoyed that as much as they did finding the eggs.It was a great time! Hmm, I'm not really a fan of the Easter Bunny, though. The Easter Beagle would be more my speed.

Hey, has anyone ever heard of the Easter Pit Bull? I think we may have one or two of those around...
