To celebrate my dad's and brother's birthdays, we took the kids down to see them. My dad lives near Galveston Island, so we headed to Moody Gardens to see the Aquarium Pyramid. It was so much fun!
So, here, for your viewing pleasure I present...a seal's butt! Oh, but aren't the kids cute?
And next...some strange woman's butt! Oh, and a sea turtle.
Ooh, sting rays. This underwater viewing tank was really cool.
Jackson got acquainted with some sinister-looking sharks.
Johnny in the shark cage.
And then Brad and Noah. Jackson wouldn't go anywhere near it.
We stopped for a little snack afterwards.
My dad showed the kids the video he took.
Kids really like seeing themselves on tv!
On the way out we stopped to take a quick family photo. You can see the rainforest pyramid in the background. We'll have to see that one next time around.
Of course, it usually takes at least two shots to get everyone looking and smiling and all.
Later that evening, we all went out to the Olive Garden for dinner. That's where Johnny always wants to go for his birthday. He likes having all the waitstaff singing for him.
And finally, the cake! The best deal on the menu, really. For less than $6, we all got dessert, and there was some left to take home. It was really good, too. Brad says he's going to order a birthday cake everytime we eat there!
We had so much fun!
