Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

We visited the very cool zoo in Colorado Springs.

The kids got to feed crackers to the giraffes!
Awe, they were so cute!

There were lots of giraffes!
After lots of climbing and seeing lots of animals (sorry, I was too busy looking to take pictures), Noah and I took a break to ride the carousel!

These grizzly bears were the coolest!
At one point, one of the bears swam right up and put it claws on the glass. The kids all backed up quick!
And I had to get a picture of the moose, of course.
Then we stopped for some fun at the playground.

This snake tunnel was made up of tubes that got progressively smaller.

They had to really crouch down at the end of it.
But what kid doesn't like tunnels?

Jackson the spider.
And Noah, my little baby bird.
Finally we visited the primate house.

Here is a little baby gorilla. It was so cute! And I loved seeing the mama and papa gorilla playing and cuddling with it. So sweet.
I highly recommend this zoo. But if you go, prepare to do some serious walking. It's not called a mountain zoo for nothing!
