We started out the holiday weekend by having a celebration for Jackson's 4th birthday. Grandparents, Uncles, Aunt, and cousins came from all around to join in the fun.
Jackson thought it was great fun to sing "Happy Birthday" along with everyone else.
The cake was an angel food with strawberries and homemade whipped cream. Yum.
He got some great presents.
Brad and I fully took advantage of having all the grandparents in town. Saturday night we went to see The Bourne Ultimatum while my mom stayed with the kids. Sunday evening we went to see a stage production of Pride and Prejudice in Dallas while Brad's mom and step-dad babysat. They tell me Noah was a wild monkey the entire time we were gone!
Monday we were invited over for a cookout by some friends. So it was a busy weekend, but we had lots of fun.
Birthday party #2 is coming up on Friday. This will be the one for all the little kids, so brace yourself, and pray for me!
