We went down to our old hometown of Rosenberg to visit the folks for Vietnamese New Year. Since Jackson is allergic to the cats at both my mom's and dad's houses, we stayed at a Holiday Inn and had everyone come to us. I didn't manage to get any pictures of my mom or her friend Nancy when they came over since I was too busy eating the yummy curry they made for us!
Grandpa was a little blurry since he was running around trying to catch up with Noah.
Grandpa was a little blurry since he was running around trying to catch up with Noah.
He eventually won over his grandson's heart by letting him stand on the windowsill, something his mean mommy wouldn't do. I guess that's what grandparents are for. The wads of cash he passed around didn't hurt either. Oh, the kids didn't really understand the concept of money? That's okay. He gave out money to the big kids as well, and I'm already on the lookout for the perfect pair of brown leather driving moccasins. Thanks, Daddy!
Jackson was duly impressed with all the fantastic and expensive electronic devices his uncles flashed around. Devices his mommy and daddy don't own or even know exist since all their disposable income are handed over to the rich ceos of Fisher Price, Little Tykes, and Osh Kosh B'Gosh. I should totally start a toy company. If I knew anything about business or designing toys.O
"You know, for kids."
